OVERVIEW
The GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS), is imparting quality education to rural students. It has a short yet deep history that challenges how education evolves now and in the future. The mission of the GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) is to educate rural kids for the well-being of our village communities and to expand the LIS knowledge base through research and scholarship. The mission, vision, and shared values infuse the School in a single strategic plan, which covers all and encompasses faculty and staff performance and growth, student success, and research.
The plan highlights six key strategies that guide the entire school. The information of GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS)in a strategic direction use key performance indicators (KPIs) as measures for determining success. The mission, vision, and values also apply to all school programs and activities.
Our director reports to the rector of the school and is a member of the School Leadership Team.
Our director has complete responsibility for running the school in a professional and strategic way, developing the curriculum, and developing and supervising budgets.We provide clear details about our assessment process, including MLIS, MARA, and Informatics performance data, which will be available on our public website in 2025.
A good strength of full-time faculty and more than 10 guest lecturers teach the students of our school. Our fully offline & smart board teaching environment enables our students to get knowledge and improve their creative skills. We have a good number of students all taking their classes within our offline & smart board teaching environment.
Our students come from different backgrounds, locations, and age groups, bringing a rich diversity to our school. Through our innovative teaching methods, they learn how to serve diverse communities. We prepare them for the many ways technology is shaping the future of our field. In every class, technology is both a learning tool and a subject of study.
Our virtual research center supports research in library and information science and beyond. It highlights faculty and student projects, promotes grant opportunities, and strengthens collaborations within our campus and with outside institutions and organizations.
ABOUT GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL
GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) has established in the year 2024. Though comparatively new and young school it developed fast under the visionary leadership of Hon. SK. Azharuddin in Ichanagari, Bogpota More, Jagatballavpur, Howrah – 711408. It is a self–financing school, followed by CBSE curriculum. Theschool has earned repute as a centre for quality education for its prime infrastructure equipped with modern facilities and conductive environment. An academically competent and committed faculty is the backbone of Institute. Our well-wisherholds significant position in their profession in West Bengal.
GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) is an independent, non-governmental and non-profitable social organization established by a group of like-minded youths with experiences in different sectors to promote education for the development and provide opportunities to the kids of Howrah district.
GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) is involved in different areas of work such as kids professionalism, overall kids development and capacity building, health, education, research, environment & Climate Change, youth and women empowerment and Social and Economic Advancement.
We promote and secure vulnerable and marginalized kids through development of professionalism and providing them with opportunities and make them initiative & capable with result-oriented education programmes.
GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) aspires to improve the living conditions of the backward and marginalized groups by adopting strategies through community initiative, participation and sensitization. It is founded in 2024 and its main working field is Howrah District, West Bengal. if necessary, it can conduct any program out of the Howrah District.
Hence, it has been also working among backward communities in the interior unreached pockets in the Howrah district. Women self-support groups have been taken as the base for all interventions and activities enabling them to contribute towards the mainstream of development process.
GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) comprises of diverse and dynamic group of competent young people from different background. GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) has 7 executive members with 3 female members. Each member of GRACE PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) has specific qualities that has helped to sustain and run the organization.
Our team brings together experts from various fields, including health, management, nursing, administration, social sciences, and information technology. Key members have strong skills in writing grant proposals, planning and managing programs, tracking progress, writing reports, coordinating projects, and using technology for innovation.

AIM
Our main aim is to provide kids professional skill, development and learning opportunity for poor and excluded society generation focus to strengthen them. We plan to achieve our aim by developing, testing and delivering evidence-based, feasible and cost-effective intervention relating to professional and social development with greater involvement of kids Programme, and communities.
ORGANAIZATION'S OBJECTIVES
The main objective is to contribute kids’ professional development, implementation and scale up of evidence-based and cost-effective intervention in kids professional and social sector.
The specific objectives are:
- To gain a greater understanding of professional development issues and explore possible solutions through quality research and development keeping the focus on kids;
- To promote quality research and research communications towards development of evidence-based policy and practice in the field of kids;
- To review and analyse the policies and programmes effectiveness at locallevel and understand their implications in professional services and social development;
- To build strong connections and teamwork among policymakers, program managers, researchers, social scientists, and like-minded institutions to establish program-based research in children's initiatives.
- To improve access to information on youth and social development for policymakers and professionals.
- To involve kids in the field of health, education, environment and economic activities and programs
- To support government initiative in the field of kids’ involvement, kids’ development and kids related policies.
