It gives us immense joy and satisfaction to introduce our very own school magazine – ‘VABNA’. The magazine encompasses the above thought of all young minds. Just as the ‘Asuras’ and ‘Devas’ churned out ‘Amrit’ from the ocean, we have tried to churn out creativity from the technical minds of this school. School narrates its story through the pages of its magazine. Opinions are like windows. When we allow light to come in, it results in a work like “VABNA”. As ‘VABNA’ means thoughts, it acts as a window for all occasions, activities, triumphs and celebrations in the school. It shows shared dreams, different ideas, and the power of togetherness. The magazine includes reports on school events, national and international news, themed submissions, language submissions, interviews, artwork etc. The magazine is a tool for reflection, and is a way for the students and faculty of GPS, Howrah alike to come together in celebrating the institution’s rich legacy.
When young creative minds are encouraged and guided by teachers at the right time, they can unleash a flow of amazing literary work. Every student has great potential and creativity, which needs the right support and direction from teachers to grow.
